Like my life, this website is a project continually in progress. Unlike my life, it’s only about a couple months old. So it’s like a new home whose interior I’m slowly and deliberately furnishing, painting, and decorating. I welcome you to poke around and get to know me. Here’s a brief rundown of what can be found on this site:
1. Résumé: Hire Me! :)
2. Selected Works: Past papers I’ve written as a student, undergrad as well as grad.
3. My Movies: YouTube-type movies I’ve shot so far.
4.My Albums: Photographic Memories.
5. Et Cetera: Random junk I’ve found on the web that doesn’t fit on the other four pages.
Welcome to deus aderit, my little corner of the world
About me:
I am a 35-year-old grad student and federal employee living in Waco, Texas. I am a Democrat and loyal Chicago Cubs and Baylor Bears fan.
Why Deus Aderit?
Carl Jung had inscribed above the door to his home, “Vocatus atque non vocatus, deus aderit,” which in English means, “Bidden or not bidden, God is present.” This is meaningful to me as someone whose faith is always undergoing continual doubt and revision.
